I am a 17 year old flight simulation enthusiast from Co.Donegal in Ireland, Here in Ireland I take great interest in the Irish Coastgaurd Sikorsky S92 operations with my local helicopter being Sligo based Rescue 118, one of 4 coastgaurd helicoper call signs from Ireland. I take great interest in the operations and I am very often performing true to life missions in and around the west coast of Ireland, patient transfers, winching, medivac as well as training with ships in sim for winching which unfortunately can’t be simulated fully at the minute. I also take great interest in the Irish Air Corps, which is basically our RAF if you will, although on a lot smaller scale thanks to Ireland’s neutrality and not helped by government underfunding. But I also simulate their air ambulance ops be it in jets or helicopters. So I really enjoy the idea of being able to share my passion for life saving missions in sim with others, I look forward to the operations with the Virtual Air Ambulance and especially the Global SAR operations which I take responsibility.
